RE-JAMB is a maintenance free white PVC product made to cover, seal, and protect the existing wood door jambs. They can be painted if desired. RE-JAMB will fit most exterior wood jambs for 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 home construction. Shield Guards will fit most doors, including patio and entry door units. They are made to cover just 1 foot of the bottom side of the wood door jambs where most damage occurs. Shield Guards are recommended for Homeowner installation and are easy to install. Only tool required: Utility knife. They come in pre-determined widths to fit standard door jamb sizes and feature a pre-determined groove for easy cutting.
